April 29th Home School Day

About the Course

Our gates open at 9 a.m. for an adventure and learning-filled homeschool day.  Hands-on learning stations offer opportunities to learn about plant life cycles, plant parts, the benefits of fresh produce, pollinators, local & farm history, animals on the farm, and math on the farm.   Scavenger hunts, farm tours, and crafts keep minds and hands busy.  Don’t forget to check out our Imagination Farm Playscape!  The farm store will be open with plenty of fresh produce, eggs, pork, and other local goodies! There’s space under our shady pavilion or on picnic tables on the lawn for lunch.

Tickets must be purchased in advance.  Ticket sales close the Friday before the event or when they’re sold out, whichever comes first.  We can accommodate up to 100 people on Homeschool days.

These days are reserved for homeschooling families so we will not have other field trips or groups but our farm store is open to the public so customers may be on the farm too.

While many of our activities are geared toward ages 5-12, there are opportunities to expand on topics to better suit older children and teens.

**Closed-toe shoes are always required to be worn, while on the farm property!

**This is a farm, so play clothes are best!

**Don’t forget sunscreen, sun hats, and a refillable water bottle!
